our first family picture (07.02.09)
My husband was deployed when Arianna was born. I had a C-section so my doctor adviced me not to drive for at least 6 weeks (i think?). Tony was going to be home 2 weeks after i had Arianna. He asked me if I was going to pick him up at the airport and I told him I can't. After a few days later, I've decided to drive to the airport and surprised him. I think it was the very first time I surprised my husband. I am really not good on surprising him but this time I succeeded. I was just grateful nothing bad happened when i drove to the airport. I was so happy Tony finally saw Arianna. He held her and didn't move. I told him "it's ok to move." lol

5 days old (06.23.09)
My friend Angel took the photos. She and her kids went to our house on my birtday last year. She made yummy bowtie pasta and dessert. She even bought me a cake! I am so grateful for having a friend like her.

my baby girl
Arianna Marie Martinez was born on June 2009 at 12:54 am in Coupeville Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs. 8oz and 19 inches long. I had a C-section because I wasn't progressing during my labor. I was really grateful for my Mother-inlaw and my sister who came down here to help me. Tony wasn't here during that time because he was out to sea. But i got to talk to him alot and my sister sent him pictures of us and baby Arianna. It was sad he wasn't here. Welcome to the Navy life.
Having a baby is a fulfilling achievement parents could ever ask for. She brings joy into our lives. I love how she put smiles on our faces. I love how she keeps us busy. I just love her to pieces!
Here are some pictures my sister took during Arinna's arrival.

History
My second attempt for blogging. I started last month and I totally forgot all about it. i beg your pardon(to all my blog readers) for my wrong grammar in the future. LOL. I am not really good in English but this is a good practice for me.
time to start the history..
Tony and I met in Hawaii on 2004. He was stationed there and I was studying at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. He didnt tell me that he was about to leave the island for Navy seal training in San Diego in less than a month! Long story short, he got kick out from the training because he got really sick. I think it was pneumonia. (i had to google the spelling. )and I was still in Hawaii. He picked Whidbey Island, Washington for his next duty station. He asked me to marry him over the phone.. He is a very sweet guy, i tell you. LOL. I told him, yes. So we got married June 2005 in Coupeville,WA. We adopted 2 dogs, Tonka and Lucky. After 4 years, we had our sweet pea, Arianna Marie on June 2009.
Tony bought our first house before we got married so I didnt have any idea where and how big the house is. The house is far from everything. It was really country for me although we live in a nice neighborhood. I hated it for the first year. But, I realize I learned how to be grateful for what we have. Be grateful! Some people don't have a place to live in.
So yeah, that's a short history. I will be blogging again. Hopefully this time, it's not gonna take me a month and a half to post something here. hahaha.
