Her first Easter

There's nothing new about Tony being gone all the time because of the Navy. He missed Arianna's first Easter. I told him over the email that I really wanted to take Arianna egg hunting but there was none at my church. So he told me there was one at the base. For people who dont know me, I dont like going to places that I dont know anybody. I was deciding whether to go or not. Then, my friend Liza came to the rescue! LOL. She called me and asked me if I wanna go with her and her son at the base to go egg hunting and I said without hesitation "YES!" She was a lifesaver, I tell you. Well, Arianna and I had fun at the egg hunting. She got some bunny rubber duckies and plastic eggs with chocolate candies inside for mommy. It was a good Easter egg hunting day!

Pictures were taken at the NAS Whidbey on April 03, 2010

Us with the Easter Bunny

Patiently waiting for the egg hunting. It was chilly so Arianna's nose was kinda red.

Woohoo! got one egg. That means mommy will have some chocolates!

Long overdue

I dont know why I waited so long to blog again. I have so much stuff to say like Arianna's first Christmas. Well, it's better late than never.

We were so lucky to have daddy home on Christmas. We went to my dad's cousin's house on Christmas day. It didnt snow so Arianna didn't used her snowsuit we bought her. Oh well. Arianna had fun opening her Christmas presents from Mommy and Daddy and from family and friends who loves her so much. Here are some of her pictures on Christmas 2009.

Arianna was so happy to open presents. She got to rip some wrappers.

She got a bumboo seat from her Titi Stacia and the toy was from our friend the Talbott family

She got a blanket made by Tita Leah.

Lots of clothes from Tito Nate and Tita Lovely and 2 pair of shoes.

She got an exersaucer from us and some other stuff. =)

Holland Happening

Arianna and I watched the Holland Happening Parade in Oak Harbor for the first time. The weather was a lil chilly but it was all good because it didn't rain. I got lots of candies. ;P My husband was still on deployment. yeah, he's missing out all the fun. He asked me if I bought Arianna wooden shoes and I said no because she's not walking yet. Maybe next year, I will buy her a pair. The pictures were taken April 24, 2010 at the parade in Oak Harbor, Washington.

He's always in the holland happening every year making wooden shoes.

Tulip Festival

I know Tulip festival had passed. I was looking at some pictures on my computer and I came across at the Tulip Festival album.

I've been living here in Washington for over 5 years now and I had never been to the Tulip Festival. Last April, I really wanted to go but I dont wanna go by myself with Arianna. Tony was still on deployment so I asked my friend Tanya if she wanted to go. She told me she hasnt been there and decided to go with me.

When we were there, I was so inlove with the place! It was so GORGEOUS! The flowers were bright and colorful. I took lots of pictures. Hopefully next year, Tony won't be deployed so he could see the festival. Here are some of the pictures from the Tulip Festival.

When daddy came home

It was May 20th, 2010 when Tony came home from deployment. He left when Arianna was only 6 1/2 months. While he was gone, I made sure Arianna watches videos of daddy everyday so she wont forget him. When Tony pull in port, we skyped (thank you skype!) and Arianna recognizes him.

So, we picked daddy up at the airport. Arianna was crying because she bumped her lip in the chair. When she saw daddy, she stopped crying for a lil bit, touched daddy's face then cried again. lol. I told Tony, she's not crying because she's scared of him, she's crying because she bumped her lip. The moment Arianna touched daddy's face was priceless. No pictures nor videos because it was hard to turn on the camera while holding Arianna. ;P but here are some pictures i took when we went out for dinner at Seabolts.

She was ordering steak! just kidding
